Luckily I am feeling much better today so was able to make it back into the hospital to see Savannah. Even though it had only been 2 days it felt forever and she had grown loads since last saw here (2595g today…5.7lbs).

The cup feeding had gone well and it helped us have a good stab at breast feeding this morning and she even tried daddy’s finger later on.

SJ has been a superstar and has been  staying in her 30s on oxygen so the consultant is hoping to start (SLOWLY) weaning down the pressure soon.

But by far and away the most exciting development today was the opportunity to give Savannah her first ever bath…. Starting with washing her hair

Then onto the water. At first she wasn’t too sure

But quickly grew to like it

And then was wide awake following it

All snuggly in her latest outfit

Before going back to sleep
