Savannah’s oxygen levels have crept up a little over the last couple of days so she has had an xray to see if her lungs are collapsing (and she needs to go back onto CPAP to provide the pressure to keep them open). She has also had some secretions sent away for anaylsis just to rule out infection.

So far the xray shows chronic lung disease but nothing futhure so she is staying on the settings she is on and fingers crossed is just a 24 hour thing.

In other unsettling news it appears there is another Savannah on the unit (although dates and patient numbers clearly show they copied us).  But there is only one SJ…
