Last night we were told that Savannah would be moved into a cot, we were expecting a plastic half incubator but walked in this morning to be greeted with an actual cot….

So SJ is doing well at regulating her body temperature (with the right clothes and blankets obviously) but her oxygen requirements have crept up slightly today. Her weight gain has been so good that they are reducing this and hopefully see if it helps with her reliance on oxygen.

Her hemoglobin levels are a little low and there was talk of a blood transfusion but this is on hold as it looks like she might be able to pull herself up.  Watch this space.

We are continuing to progress with trying to breast feed….little by little Savannah and I will get the hang of it.
